Swords & District Credit Union is delighted to introduce the new cumoneycard to our members. This new facility is a welcome addition to our services and will provide easy access to your savings 24 hours a day. In order to avail of this service a CUCASH account will be opened for the member. This account will be separate to the savings in the share account.

Members can access their cash from over 4000 ATM machines Nationwide; there are no transaction charges or fees (Government levy of €2.50 annually applies)

How the cumoneycard works?

This new facility can be used anytime, day or night to withdraw money from your Credit Union CUCASH account. You cannot use your ATM card to withdraw money from your share account.

How do I lodge money to my CUCASH account so that I can access it with my cumoneycard?

You can lodge money to your CUCASH account by

  • Making a direct lodgment into your CUCASH account in either of the Credit Union offices
  • Increasing your direct debit to allow for a specific amount to go into your CUCASH account, which you can then withdraw on a daily basis or whenever the need arises.
  • Increasing your salary deduction to allow for a specific amount to go into your CUCASH account, which you can then draw upon whenever the need arises.
  • Transferring uncommitted savings from your share/special share account to your CUCASH account via CUONLINE (Members must register on our web site to have access to CUONLINE)

How much can I withdraw?

Using your cumoneycard (ATM card) you can withdraw up to €500 in any 24 hour period from available funds in your CUCASH account.

Where can you use your cumoneycard?

Access your cash where and when you want it in ATM machines nationwide, you have easy and convenient access to your cash whenever you need it. Your new cumoneycard will work in the following ATM machines

  • At any Bank of Ireland 365 ATM
  • At any AIB banklink machine
  • At any Permanent TSB ATM
  • At any Ulster Bank ATM

You can even use your ATM card in Northern Ireland. Save yourself time with the CU ATM card by withdrawing sterling or dollars at any domestic airport within Ireland

ATM Charges / Fees

There are no transaction charges for using your cumoneycard. All ATM cards are liable to an annual Government Stamp Duty charge; which is currently €2.50 per card. (Please note: The Board of Directors reserves the right to amend and adjust the Terms and Conditions of use of the cumoneycard)

Lost and Stolen Cards

If your ATM card is lost or stolen it is very important that you ring the lost and stolen card line as soon as possible. The number for lost and stolen cards is 1890 273 348 (1890 2(C) 7(R) 3 (E) 3 (D) 4 (I) 8 (T) ). When your Swords & District Credit Union cumoneycard is ready for collection you will need to present photo ID to collect your replacement card. Swords & District Credit Union reserves the right to refuse any application.

How to Apply

Simply contact either office, North Street or Swords Manor, for an application form and once the application is processed you will receive your ATM card by post.

Your PIN (Personal Identification Number) will be issued to your separately by post. Once you have been issued with a PIN your new card is ready for use.
