Direct Debits

A Direct Debit can be set up to transfer money from a bank account into your credit union account. This is a great way to save and it also allows members to pay off any loans outstanding with Swords Credit Union without having to call into the branch.

Members can register on our site and receive a PIN to access their account online, it is possible to transfer money from the credit union to a bank account or pay bills online.

It is also possible to lodge money into the credit union from the online section, directly from the bank/building society to the members credit union account, either into shares, cucash account or off their loan. To make lodgments online into the Credit Union from a bank or building society the following form will need to be completed and returned to the Credit Union

If a member is not registered online with Swords & District Credit Union but would like to transfer money from their online bank or by credit transfer from a bank account to their credit union account. The following are the details needed:

  • Your Member EFT Number (contact office for details)

  • Sort Code: 99:10:34

 

Child Benefit Payments

It is now possible to have Social Welfare Payments i.e. Child Benefit, Pensions etc….paid directly into a member’s credit union account. Please contact our office for your member account  details .

ATM

Monies can be paid into a member’s share account, off a loan or into a cucash account and with the ATM facility monies can be withdrawn from the cucash account at over 4,000 ATM’s nationwide.

E-Cheques

Can’t make it to the bank or would like to avoid the queue? Cheques can now be transferred electronically to your Bank Account using an e-cheque. This is a safe, simple and convenient method of transferring money. E-cheques if processed before 11am can be in your account the next day (Max 3 days)

This method is used when members calling into the credit union to collect a loan or make a share withdrawal can have the money lodged directly into a bank account. Members are reminded to bring their Bank details with them. The account number and sort code of the bank is needed.

 

Laser Payment

Members can now use laser payments for the following services:

  • Loan Payments
  • Save by Laser
  • Pay your household bills by Laser too

Members can pay by laser in branch or over the phone.
