Swords and District Credit Union have a Paypath salary scheme and a Payroll deduction scheme in several of the companies in the area that is open to all employees.

Paypath Salary Scheme

Paypath Salary Scheme is when a member’s payroll department pays their salary or part of their salary directly into their Credit Union account with the members’ permission. The salary is paid into the credit union account on the same day that the salary would normally reach the bank account.

Payroll Deduction Scheme

The payroll deduction scheme works exactly the same as the Paypath salary scheme except that the payroll department deducts funds from the salary, this is itemised as a deduction on the pay slip and is forwarded to the credit union by the payroll department.

Both schemes are an excellent way of saving or paying off a loan. There are no account charges, fees or maintenance costs for the above services.
